About Me
I provide therapy to adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, stress, autism, intellectual disability, grief/loss, life transitions, LGBTQ+-related stigma, dating/relationship issues, and more. I work collaboratively with patients primarily utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower them to effectively manage symptoms, gain self-insight, learn healthy coping skills, recover from trauma, overcome phobias and improve quality of life. I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy, backed by years of training and experience in working with neurodivergent people. I’m licensed to practice clinical social work in Virginia (License #: 0904012360) as well as Washington, DC (License #: LC200002712). I am also a Board-Certified Supervisor of Social Work in Virginia and a Professional Social Worker Telehealth Provider in South Carolina (License #: TLS 747 CP)
