About Me
Hi, I’m Nikki Schwisow, LCSW, owner of Evolve Counseling and Coaching. I provide telehealth therapy for adults in Utah, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Nebraska, Washington, and New York.
I started my career in business, but I found my calling in therapy because I wanted to help others the way I had been helped. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and codependency, and I use EMDR and Flash Technique to help clients process painful experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable. My approach is warm, collaborative, direct and grounded in the belief that healing is possible for everyone.
I’m in network with BCBS and PEHP and currently accepting new clients.
Education & Experience
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2011. Before opening my private practice in 2019, I worked in inpatient psychiatry, provided outpatient therapy for a local EAP, and served as a medical social worker in internal medicine and senior care clinics. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for how closely mental and physical health are connected.
