About Me
I bring curiosity, compassion, and a little creativity to the therapy process. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems—it should provide practical tools that can be used in everyday life. I enjoy helping clients and families understand the “why” behind behaviors, recognize their strengths, and develop strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.
Education & Experience
My professional journey began in education, where I spent more than 20 years supporting children and families, including 17 years as an educator and 6 years in school leadership. I later served as a Director of Student Services, supporting learning and developmental needs across Pre-K through 12th grade.
I hold a Master’s in Education from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a Master’s in Counseling from Lakeland University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC), with training in EMDR and trauma-responsive approaches.
My experience working with neurodivergent children and adults, families, educators, and individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, behavioral and emotional challenges, grief, and family-system concerns continues to shape my practical, compassionate approach to therapy.
