About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Clinical Psychology with more than 30 years of experience in social work and behavioral health. Since beginning my career in 1992, I have worked in child welfare, community mental health, geriatric services, and private practice, supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions.
I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR, and work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and the lasting effects of difficult or overwhelming experiences. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate, culturally responsive, and strengths-based perspective.
I believe therapy should provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Treatment is tailored to each individual's needs, goals, and readiness for change. Together, we work toward processing difficult experiences, strengthening coping skills, building resilience, and creating meaningful and sustainable change.
