Course Description
When treating early attachment wounds, the therapeutic dyad becomes more central to the process as we invite our clients to approach these formative experiences, navigating the delicate waters between past and present, self and other. In this workshop—by Deany Laliotis, LICSW—you will learn how to use the relational dimension to facilitate the client’s experience in and out of processing, helping them to distinguish between their past experiences of being in relationship and the current context of being in a secure attachment with the therapist, setting the stage for new, adaptive patterns of response to being in relationship going forward into the future.
