Course Description
EMDR processing is noted for its spontaneous activation of associated channels related to the targeted incident. At times clients are unwilling or unable to process all the neural networks associated with the targeted incident. This workshop—led by Crystal Whitlow, LCSW; Robert Page, LCSW, BCD—will teach clinicians a “variable speed” application of targeting and bilateral stimulation called the Processing Continuum (EMD, EMDr, EMDR). By manipulating the targeting and bilateral techniques, clinicians can keep client on “target” so as to keep the client focused on a particular incident and within their window of tolerance.
