Dr. Adila Cosgrove is the founder of Anwari Counseling Services LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in the states of NJ and PA, and a telehealth provider in the state of Florida. With Certifications in Trauma-Focused CBT and EMDR therapy. She has a wealth of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, helping individuals successfully transition back to an independent life. ​ Dr. Adila Cosgrove's extensive background includes experience in the emergency department completing psychiatric evaluations, equipping her with the ability to address critical mental health needs. Her therapeutic approach encompasses a comprehensive range of methods and techniques, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She employs EMDR to address issues related to anxiety, loss, grief, and trauma, providing a well-rounded and effective approach to emotional healing. For two years, she also served as a family-based therapist, guiding families toward healing and reconnection through culturally sensitive interventions.
