About Me
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wichita Falls, Texas (license #90390). I see clients both in person and online across the state. As a late identified neurodivergent high masking woman I am extremely familiar with the pressures and complexities that come with trying to assimilate to a world not made for you. Its exhausting, debilitating, and often comes with a never-stable-always-moving goal post of achievable identity. This life also comes with its fair share of trauma- and navigating the world through the lens of ‘what happened to you’ is often not enough.
Education & Experience
I have worked with a wide range of severity of symptoms, ranging from those with severe mental illness to those with complex childhood trauma. I am fully trained in EMDR (emdria approved) and Brainspotting, as well as somatic embodiment and regulation strategies. I have specific training in assessing autism and ADHD in adults and sensory processing difficulties. I have integrated all of these things with EMDR to aid in providing relief from symptoms and the effects of alexithymia.
