About Me

I'm a trauma therapist with a background in residential settings for acute mental health and substance use disorder treatment. My personal and professional experience has shown me how integral the role of trauma is in the development of mental health and substance use issues over the lifespan. Over the years, it became clear to me that I wanted to work with individuals long-term to heal from their underlying trauma to help break the cycle of repeated treatments and patterns in life. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is my primary modality accompanied by ego state therapy and techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. I specialize in working with people with PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and substance use disorders. I have a passion for working with individuals who have been through intense challenges to help them bridge the gap from crisis to long-term recovery and healing.
