About Me
Hi, I’m Alex, a therapist specializing in EMDR with young adults and transition-aged adults. I support clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and the impact of past experiences on identity and self-worth. I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and deeply human—one where you don’t have to perform, minimize your struggles, or have it all figured out.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. Using EMDR and other evidence-based practices, I help clients gently process unresolved experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels supportive and attuned.
Education & Experience
I am a licensed mental health therapist and the founder of In the Margins Counseling, where I provide psychotherapy to young adults navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions. My clinical work focuses on trauma, anxiety, and attachment, with specialized training in EMDR and trauma-informed care.
I received my Master’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2019. I offer a relational, thoughtful space to address experiences that may feel overwhelming, overlooked, or unresolved, supporting clients in making sense of how their past and present shape who they are becoming.
