About Me

I specialize in therapy for women, children, and teens who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and sexual abuse. If that’s you, I want you to know that there’s life after trauma. There’s success. Excitement. Celebration. Joy, peace, and the quiet of calm. (Hey, even boredom!) After trauma, there can be contentment. There’s space for you here, in a safe and supportive environment where you can process your thoughts, make sense of your feelings… And begin to heal the impact of trauma to your mind and heart. I opened Beyond Brave Counseling LLC because I feel strongly about personalized, inclusive, and supportive therapy practice tailored to each and every client. No two people are the same – that means no two therapy approaches can be, either. For more information, check out my website: https://www.beyondbravecounseling.com

Education & Experience

Since graduating with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida, I’ve worked in outpatient clinics, school settings, juvenile detention centers, domestic violence centers, and with women and children who’ve been sexually abused or experienced other trauma. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. That means I can see you in person in my Orlando, FL office or via telehealth/online therapy throughout the state of Florida. I’m certified in EMDR and in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use a combination of these and other techniques to make sure each one of my clients gets the therapy experience they need and deserve.
