About Me

I believe that a positive relationship with a therapist can lead to profound changes. I also believe that all people are deserving of the space to share their story and receive individualized support from an empathic therapist. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in both MA and NH with many years of experience working with children and adolescents and their families in the fields of education and mental health. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the community, in an outpatient setting, and through telehealth. I have received extensive training in suicide prevention, suicide loss bereavement, and mental health crisis response. One of my specialties is working with individuals impacted by traumatic experiences. I am fully-trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and I am currently undergoing certification. I enjoy working with individuals who have a history of trauma and helping them to find healing and emotional growth. Another one of my specialties is working with caregivers of children with emotional or behavioral challenges. I support caregivers to make the changes that they feel will improve their lives and allow them to manage the difficulties of caring for their child(ren). I value collaboration with schools, state agencies and community supports to build understanding and empathy for my clients. Although EMDR is the tool I use most as a therapist, I also utilize a variety of techniques to assist clients, including Polyvagal Theory, Ego State Therapy, CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing. I am flexible and I use a systemic perspective and holistic approach to my work.
