About Me
I am a trauma-informed mental health counselor specializing in eating disorders, complex trauma, and LGBTQ+-affirming care. I integrate EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand the protective roles of symptoms, process unresolved traumatic experiences, and build a sense of internal safety and self-trust. My approach is collaborative, non-pathologizing, and grounded in nervous-system-informed care, with particular attention to identity-based stress, shame, and developmental trauma. I work with clients who may appear high-functioning but feel internally overwhelmed or disconnected, supporting them in moving beyond survival toward greater embodiment, resilience, and meaningful change.
