About Me
I’m Alexis Jette, LICSW, MSW. I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker providing virtual and in-person treatment based in Lexington, Massachusetts, and I’m honored to walk alongside adults and teens in their healing journey. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, trauma, and complex life stressors. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to your unique needs, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, written exposure therapy, and prolonged exposure therapy when appropriate. One of my special interests is working with adolescents and families. Education & Experience
I have an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and a Masters degree from Simmons University. I am an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW). I have worked as a psychotherapist for years in community mental health and later in a large private practice. Additionally, I have over a decade of experience supporting new families as an Independently Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) which has deepened my understanding of life transitions, identity shifts, stress, and the emotional complexities that often accompany major changes.
