Mrs. Alice Ji Yoon Zhu, LMFT

(she/her)
Preferred Name: Alice

About Me

As a bicultural individual, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of navigating multiple cultures, identities, and expectations. I am passionate about offering culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, particularly for individuals facing adjustment challenges, intergenerational trauma, and family-of-origin concerns.

As an EMDR therapist, I support clients in processing past experiences that may be contributing to present-day distress, including depression, anxiety, ADHD-related difficulties, and relationship or marital concerns. I also welcome conversations around spirituality and meaning, honoring each client’s unique values and beliefs.

I provide therapy in both Korean and English, creating a space where clients can express themselves in the language that feels most authentic and comfortable.

If you feel ready to begin this work, I would be honored to support you on your healing journey.

Education & Experience

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Science at Fuller Theological Seminary. I have many years of experience, having explored different positions from research to business and marketing while working in a community mental health setting.
