EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

About Me

I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, particularly childhood and developmental trauma, emotional neglect, sexual trauma, and painful relationship experiences. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware and have already done a great deal of work to understand themselves, yet still find that old experiences shape how they feel, react, and relate to others. I bring more than a decade of experience with EMDR to this work, along with Havening and other trauma-focused approaches, and offer therapy that is active, collaborative, and focused on creating meaningful change, not simply understanding why you feel the way you do.

Education & Experience

M.A. in counseling psychology from the Wright Institute. Basic EMDR training with Philip Mansfield (JFK University), and Laurel Parnell (Parnell Institute). Specialized EMDR classes in using EMDR to work with children (Joan Lovett, JFK University), Super Resourcing (Alison Teal), Flash Method (Philip Manfield)
