Aliya Zafer, LMHC
About Me
I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors, providing support tailored to each stage of life. My expertise lies in helping individuals navigate complex medical challenges—including chronic pain, phobias, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep issues, diabetes, and other health conditions—using EMDR and other therapeutic approaches. I understand that reaching out to a counselor can feel daunting, especially when it’s difficult to express yourself to someone new. If you choose to embark on this therapeutic journey with me, you'll find a compassionate, approachable, and attentive listener dedicated to supporting your unique needs.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, with additional expertise in Neuropharmacology and Biochemistry, and an M.D. from Saba University. I am passionate about continuous learning and am dedicated to integrating EMDR techniques to effectively address clients' needs.
