About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (#108104) and I am excited to offer a supportive therapy environment to clients in need. I have experience treating adults, teens, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotional regulation issues, trauma, PTSD, and life stressors. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career, including a residential setting for teenagers, in homes supporting youth and families in the foster system, and in a group practice seeing individuals and families on an outpatient basis. I have helped clients process past traumas and adverse events, develop coping skills, overcome crisis situations, manage transitional phases of life, and improve family dynamics. I work to create a non-judgmental, nurturing space where clients can explore and heal with a combination of support and practical feedback. My goal is for clients to explore, grow, and heal in order to gain awareness, increase ability to be present, and live more fully. I am a collaborative therapist who believes you are the expert in your own life and I am the guide who can help you move towards your goals. I primarily utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when working with clients. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness skills, solution focused therapy, and family systems.
