I specialize in supporting adults through the use of EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, and or Solution Focused Brief Therapy for the unique needs of each client to address posttraumatic stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and anxiety symptoms that interfere with completing responsibilities or interests.

Education & Experience

I hold credentials as a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina (15930), NBCC national certified counselor (1428828), and am EMDR-trained to address posttraumatic stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and anxiety symptoms that interfere with clients' abilities to complete responsibilities or interests. I hold a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in College Counseling and Student Development, and has experience since 2020 leading groups through counseling, teaching, and professional workshops. My work specializes in women's mental health and wellness on topics related to self-worth, identity, purpose, coping skills, managing relationship conflicts (self, marital, family, friendship), career development, college student adjustment to adulthood, major life or career transitions, mood irritability, and unresolved childhood trauma.
