About Me
In my private practice, I work mostly with millennial women going through big life changes, such as a divorce/breakup, career shift, losing a loved one, or becoming a parent. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, and identity issues. I am deeply passionate about helping women through life’s most challenging moments due to my own lived experience with many of the same issues my clients face. I offer virtual sessions in California and in-person session in my Calabasas office.
Education & Experience
I earned my MSW from California State University, Long Beach. Prior to starting a private practice, I worked at a community mental health agency providing individual and group therapy and case management to low or no-income adults in LA County. I supported individuals facing mental health challenges and navigating houselessness, substance use issues, and/or reentry from incarceration. Additionally, I facilitated grief support groups in schools (K-12) through Our House Grief Support Center and volunteered as a crisis counselor for 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. I am fully trained in EMDR. I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) by the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and am trained in providing exposure therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, and prolonged exposure therapy.
