About Me

Amanda Garratt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. Amanda is a Certified EMDR clinician, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She has specific training in IFS informed EMDR, and provides EMDR therapy to children, teens and adults, as well as offering consultation to EMDR practitioners working toward certification. Amanda is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and meditation instructor, and incorporates mindfulness and body awareness practices throughout her work. Amanda earned her Masters degree in social work at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Peru. She is an LGBTQI ally, is bilingual in Spanish/English, and has nearly a decade of experience working with children, teens, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflict. Amanda believes deeply in each person’s innate ability to heal and grow, and offers a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for that process.
