About Me
I love helping others to overcome struggles in their life and achieve wellness in all aspects of their life. I work to create a warm, safe environment to work through your current challenges. During our first few meetings, I will develop an assessment and treatment plan based on your individual needs. I treat individuals and couples utilizing the tools that I have learned from EMDR, CBT and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Education & Experience
I received my Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at Truman State University and my Masters of Education degree at The University of Missouri- St. Louis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been in the mental health field since 2008 in a variety of different settings including substance abuse inpatient centers, psychiatric hospitals and community health centers providing individual and group counseling. I have been established in my own private practice since 2017. I am trained in EMDR, CBT and Gottman Method Couples Counseling.
