About Me

As a Counselor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I provide non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate treatment to veterans and their families. I have over two years of experience in counseling, therapy, and addiction recovery, as well as a Master in Social Work and a Master in Business Administration. I am a U.S. Army Veteran, retired with global diversity, cultural sensitivity and equal opportunity knowledge and training. My mission is to help clients become the best version of themselves, whatever that may be. I use a client-centered approach that is tailored and individualized to each person's needs and goals. I am certified and trained in several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Licensed Social Worker, and a Certified Trauma Professional. I consider learning about someone's unique and personal story to be an honor and privilege. I look forward to professionally engaging with each client's internal world while walking alongside them on their journey.
