About Me
I am a licensed clinician with advanced training in EMDR and a deep commitment to supporting first responders of all varieties . Much of my work focuses on helping those in public safety understand how trauma lives in the nervous system and how evidence-based approaches like EMDR can support healing without requiring people to relive or retell every detail of what they’ve been through. I am a vetted provider with the Fraternal Order of Police and maintain membership with the International Association of Chiefs of Police. I have completed specialized training to work with 911 dispatchers in a culturally competent way, honoring the unique and often unseen stressors of emergency communications work. My advanced clinical training includes EMDR, IFS-informed EMDR through Syzygy Institute, and a year-long training with the Polyvagal Institute. I am currently a student with Somatic Experiencing International (SEI), further integrating body-based and nervous-system–informed approaches into my work.
Education & Experience
I hold both a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW). My professional background includes work in acute and emergency medical settings, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), critical incident response, and community mental health. These roles have allowed me to work with individuals and families experiencing crisis, trauma, and significant life stressors across a wide range of settings.
