About Me
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice. My areas of focus include addressing trauma, anxiety and depression, family relationships, life transitions, and the intersection of mental health and our spiritual/religious life - including addressing religious trauma. I draw from numerous evidence based practices that focus on attachment, mindfulness, understanding our mind-body connection, and healing through authentic, safe relationships. I believe we can live meaningful lives in the midst of pain and suffering and that no one should walk alone.
Education & Experience
I have been in private practice for over 2 years and have previous experience doing therapy in both college and elementary school settings, as well as home-based therapy through a local non-profit. I also work part-time as a medical social worker at our local children's emergency department. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois - Jane Addams College of Social Work and a Master of Arts degree from Western Theological Seminary.
