About Me
Anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma can suffocate our lives, keeping us from experiencing the fullness and beauty all around us. Sometimes, we’re able to put on a brave face, despite our pain, to try to show the outside world that we are okay. Sometimes, we fall apart and just can't seem to put the pieces back together. No matter where you are in your healing journey, the good news is that therapy works, and there are several evidence-based therapy methods proven to help you feel better and guide your healing journey. There is hope, purpose, love, and joy on the other side of your pain. Together, we will work to find that peace for you.
I am a Clinical Complex Trauma Professional with an "eclectic" treatment approach. I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself, process difficult emotions and memories, and develop practical coping strategies for managing life's challenges. I offer guidance, support, and encouragement as you navigate your own inner world.
For some, therapy can be a lifelong journey that is focused on healing from past wounds and traumatic experiences. For others, therapy can mean inviting me into your life for a critical period of time when you need to get back to yourself after a difficult transition. No matter what therapy looks like for you, I’m here to be your guide and listening ear.
Education & Experience
I have both my Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work. I have spent over a decade in the social work field, and I have been working in clinical social work for the last six years. I am a Certified Clinical Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), a Nurturing Parenting instructor, and a mental health first aid practitioner. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Trauma-Informed), DBT, EMDR, exposure therapy, narrative therapy, and solutions-focused brief therapy. I am constantly looking to learn more about methods and practices that help my clients find and access their healing.
