About Me

Amira is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience with addiction, trauma and stressor related disorders, as well as a wide range of other psychological disorders. As a therapist, she utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including EMDR, IFS informed EMDR, Equine Interactions with EMDR, and Brainspotting, to best serve each clients unique needs. In therapy, it is important to recognize the underlying issues that need to be addressed in order to fully heal and progress in life. Therapy sessions are offered both virtually and in person for those participating in equine interactions.
