About Me
When working with Amy, you will find she is compassionate and responsive to client needs. Amy is actively involved in the therapeutic process while also meeting clients where they are. Clients may find they are gently encouraged to stretch beyond their comfort zone to explore adaptive coping strategies, restore healthy thought patterns, and regulate distressing symptoms.
Education & Experience
Amy holds a MA from Marymount University in Community Counseling. Amy is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Amy is licensed to provide Telehealth in South Carolina and Florida. Amy completed EMDR training in 2012 and became certified in 2024. Additional trainings include the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) Certification in 2022 and the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) in 2024.
