Education & Experience

I graduated from John Brown University in 1993 with a BS in Psychology. I graduated from Liberty University in 2011 with a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor currently and have been in private practice in Idaho for the past 13 years. I have worked in a Foster and Adoption Center and have 25 years experience volunteering my time with adolescents and their families.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am the author of the book "Wilson the Wombat and the Nighttime What-If Worries" that came out August of 2021 and “Wilson the Wombat Bravely Charges the Storm” in May 2023. In the first book, it teaches adults and children what to do with the "what-if worries" and helps them to create a "safe place" in their minds as we do with EMDR. The second book teaches kids and their adults how to face difficult life situations. I am an EMDRIA member and a member of the ACA.
