EMDR Certified Therapist

EMDR Consultant

About Me

I am collaborative, down to earth, and I take a "strengths based" approach to understanding people. The quality that people seem to most appreciate about me is my enthusiasm. I believe that each person already has the power to grow, recover, and thrive. My job is to create the conditions so that each person can put that power into action.

Education & Experience

I am a licensed, independent, clinical social worker who has been working as a therapist since 2001. I have worked at a community mental health center, a drop-in center for people who are homeless, and a college counseling center. I learned from experience that traditional talk therapy alone was not achieving the results that people wanted in their lives. I trained in EMDR in 2009. I found EMDR to be so powerfully helpful that I became a Certified EMDR therapist in 2015. I became an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in 2022. I love EMDR, and I love supporting people to make meaningful changes in their lives.
