About Me
I joined Heritage Health in 2016 but was with Restored Paths since October 1, 2015, before merging with Heritage Health. I currently work as a Co-occurring Disorders Counselor, specializing in Substance Use Counseling. I hold an LCPC and AADC, have 16 years of working in mental health and/or substance use. I began substance use/mental health counseling to be a support to those struggling and provide support and empathy to assist them in overcoming and redirecting their life path. I specialize in helping people who have been impacted by substance use or other addictive behaviors and love working with patients because seeing individuals make life changes and strengthen themselves is the most fulfilling way to give back to others. I am originally from Coeur d’ Alene, ID., and love music and reading.
Education & Experience
I earned both my bachelor’s and two master's degrees from the University of Idaho. My master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies was my second master’s degree after initially studying education. I hold a license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Advanced Alcohol/Drug Counselor and am an approved supervisor in the state of Idaho.
