About Me

I specialize in providing EMDR Intensive Therapy. Welcome to my practice, where healing and growth are facilitated through a solution-focused, client-centered, and compassionate approach. I believe in fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered and supported on their journey towards well-being. I understand that seeking help can be challenging, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their concerns.

Education & Experience

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2000, laying the foundation for my extensive career in mental health. With over 23 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY17942), I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, college counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. The majority of my career has been dedicated to clinical work with first responders and their families at The Counseling Team International, where I am committed to serving those that serve. Here, I've had the opportunity to provide psychotherapy and comprehensive support to individuals, couples and families in high-stress environments. In addition to my role as a therapist, I have conducted critical incident stress debriefings to assist individuals and groups in coping with traumatic events. I have also performed pre-employment psychological assessments for law enforcement personnel and led various training sessions and educational workshops. In this capacity, I've gained profound insights into the unique needs and challenges faced by first responders and their families. This experience has deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of tailored interventions to support individuals in demanding roles.
