About Me

Let’s be honest – life can be rough! You’ve gotten good at pushing through, but deep down, you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or out of sync with yourself. Maybe old wounds are resurfacing, or a life change has thrown you off balance. Either way, you know something needs to shift. Now, picture a life where you wake up feeling at ease; confident, present, and empowered. That kind of peace is possible. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Hey there! I’m Angelica.

If you’re a perfectionist, people-pleaser, over-thinker, or self-doubter – you’re in the right place. I help busy women and BIPOC professionals break free from stress, burnout, and the weight of past experiences so they can feel more at peace in their lives.

Therapy isn’t just about talking, it’s about healing and growth. We’ll tap into your strengths, tackle what’s holding you back, and work together in a way that feels supportive, validating, and empowering. My goal? To make sure you feel truly seen and heard every step of the way.

I use utilize EMDR and IFS in my practice, always through a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed lens. I also bring a social justice perspective, recognizing how diversity, privilege, and discrimination shape our experiences. And don’t worry - this is a real, judgment-free space where you can show up fully as yourself (yes, that includes sarcasm and swearing!).

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Let’s take this next step together. Head to my website to book a free 20 minute consultation!

**More about me**

I am a Millennial Latina – granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, daughter of Chicanos.

Throughout my life, I have lived with the tension of being a white presenting Latina and how that impacts the ways in which people perceive and respond to me. Not ‘brown enough’ for the Latino community but also not ‘white enough’ for the White American community. I often felt overlooked, unseen, or unheard.

Through music, creativity, and the art of listening, I found a place of belonging. I went into the field of mental health counseling in order to support fellow Women of Color and Millennials in their healing healing journey.
