Angeline H. Doty, LMHC-D
Preferred Name: Angie
About Me
My approach is relational, compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I help individuals better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives.
As a certified EMDR psychotherapist, I am here to support you through life’s challenges at a pace that feels safe, grounded, and right for you. Through EMDR, I help clients process distressing experiences so they no longer feel as intense, intrusive, or defining. Together, we work toward helping you feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and reactions—not just managing symptoms, but creating meaningful, lasting change.
Education & Experience
I have worked in private practice for over a decade, and am honored to walk aside individuals on their healing journey.
I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of St. Josephs. I have a history of teaching at a local community college along with case/care management, community mental health work and working as a counselor in an integrative care setting. Being in the counseling room is my passion! At the core of my work is the belief that people are incredibly resilient. Even if it doesn’t feel that way right now, the capacity for healing is already within you—I’m here to help you access it.
