About Me
I have been in private practice for 15 years and enjoy getting to know each individual I see and help. I have lived in several different countries and understand many issues around culture, trauma and interracial marriage. Having this background has helped me be able to find common ground with just about everyone I meet, even in small ways.
Education & Experience
I obtained my undergraduate degree in the UK, and my Masters degree in California. Early on in my career I worked with adults with chronic mental illness, and with youth in the foster care system. I then branched out into my own practice, working with teens and individuals, and now working more with adults and couples.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Association of Christian Counsellors.
