Education & Experience

I received my training in relational and attachment-focused PTSD and complex trauma recovery at the University of Victoria and as its founder, I have been part of the Wildwood Therapy group since 2020.

I focus my practice on facilitating EMDR therapy to individuals and I am passionate about supporting folks to learn more about how to manage PTSD symptoms, process emotions, navigate relationships and boundaries, and feel more authentic and present. My goal is your sense of freedom and empowerment, which means I practice feminist therapy methods that include feedback, informed consent, and options.

I trained in EMDR under Sue Genest. I understand the complexities of recovery when we will continue to experience oppression in the future and in addition to being able to support you to move through past and recent traumas, we can also target limiting beliefs, phobias, dissociation, relationship with food and body, addiction, and more. I have lots of experience supporting work-related trauma and I have a soft spot for nurses and first responders still recovering from our recent global health crisis.

I am constantly learning and if there's something you want to address with me that I'm not trained in, I will pursue further training and supervision in that area if I'm able to.
