About Me
Annie Tam is a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Mend Counseling. She received her Master's of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. While working in France, she discovered her passion for helping teens and young adults mend their brokenness. Annie has spent the last 14 years working with adolescents and adults in the school as a teacher and High School Counselor, and in private practice as a counselor and coach. Annie offers three services—counseling, coaching and consulting. She specializes in working with mothers and young women in building self-confidence, finding purpose, and recognizing individual strengths. Her coaching is conducted online so you can meet from the privacy of your home or office. This service is great for individuals who want to improve their current state of life and move forward to reach their goals. Annie is also available for presentations and consultations in schools, churches, and businesses. Annie uses a combination of counseling and coaching styles based on her clients needs and objectives. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing which she uses to address trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, and enhance performance. She believes each individual is different, thus the mending process will be a unique journey. Her goal is to make sure you feel safe and accepted in order to create an environment that fosters your holistic growth and freedom.
