(She/Her/Hers)

About Me

In my practice, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to lessen anxiety, traumatic memories, and phobic responses. I also use cognitive, creative, and spiritually based approaches. Over 20 years of experience in social service has taught me that all individuals have inner resources for change and the capacity to overcome negative experiences.

Education & Experience

I am a graduate of The Evergreen State College (1993) and Saint Martin's University (2008). I have worked in a variety of social service positions including a mental health crisis unit, and several organizations that supported individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, I've worked as a therapist with elders in a care home and with women who had experienced domestic violence. I have been in private practice for 17 years.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am a member of EMDRIA and the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association. I am also an NCC or nationally certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
