April Twenhafel, LMFT
About Me
I was raised in a small rural town in Illinois prior to moving to Southern California to pursue my graduate work. I love being a mother of two children here in SoCal and enjoy seeking outdoor adventures with my family.
Education & Experience
After earning a Bachelor's degree in social work, I pursued my Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy out of my desire to equip and support client's in their healing process. During my 17 years as a clinician, I have worked with many adults and children dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and grief.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of CAMFT and the American Psychological Association. I volunteer my time with various community outreach programs in my area serving families with mental health services.
