About Me

Ashleigh is an experienced clinical social worker and therapist who specializes in working primarily with individuals who are 55+, though enjoys seeing adults of all ages. Her specialty areas of practice include: anxiety, depression, major life changes and role reversal, complicated grief and loss, complex trauma, end of life planning, terminal prognoses, physical and cognitive health changes, and caregiver stress and burnout. Ashleigh uses an eclectic approach using a combination of therapies including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Ashleigh also provides supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians within the practice and at other healthcare organizations.

Ashleigh attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education and Human Sciences with minors in Gerontology and Psychology, then went on to obtain her Master’s of Social Work degree and Gerontology Certificate at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She has worked in variety of settings including an in-patient geriatric psychiatric unit, outpatient behavioral health clinic, long term care, hospice, and memory care facilities.
