EMDR Certified Therapist

EMDR Consultant

About Me

I believe strongly in holistic healing and am open to and aware of many paths for recovery. I take an eclectic approach to counseling, meeting my clients wherever they are in their process and uniquely tailoring treatment to individual needs. Passionate in healing trauma (relational, spiritual, physical, sexual, emotional or early childhood), I walk along side brave survivors ready to move on from their past. I cherish this process and am honored to be a safe advocate and guide. As a mother of two, I have plenty of material to pull from and treasure working with parents, especially those who are facing parenting transitions and challenges with blended families. With support, validation and humor, I can help make parenting fun again and offer a non-judgemental space to collaborate in creative solutions.

Education & Experience

I have experience working with adolescents and adults focusing on such topics as, family violence, sexual assault, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias, families in crisis, divorce, parenting, blended families, grief, and self esteem. I received my BA in English and a minor in Women's Studies from Boston College and my MA in Counseling from St. Edward's University.
