About Me

My area's of interest and specialization are related to personal identies and life experiences. In sessions, you can expect to develop an authentic relationship where you are seen, deeply known and appreciated. You will likely laugh, cry and feel your way through change. You will probably engage in psychoeducation that builds on skills and knowledge that you already have. My clients describe me as warm, kind, direct and funny (maybe a little spunky).

Education & Experience

I worked for many years at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus treating medical students, medical residents, physicians, scientits and academic faculty. I have a speaicl interest in working with medical professionals and acadmics as well as those who are a part of the LGBTQ community. I also worked for many years in the eating disorder field and have worked at most levels of care. In addition to trauma, I am an eating disorder expert and enjoy wokring with clients to have peace with their bodies, food and movement. Finally, I enjoy working with persons in the pre and postnatal periods. Pregnancy is an exciting and often challenging time, especially if you have a history of trauma. I am here to support you in efforts to get pregnant, through the pregnacy it's self and through the 4th trimester. I often find that becoming a parent is beautiful and chalenging and many of my clients continue therapy as they adjust to the new role of "care giver". I attended NYU and obtained a Master's degree in clinical social work with an emphasis in psychodynamic approaches.
