About Me
I am a psychotherapist who focuses on looking at you as an entire person, not just a diagnosis. I received my Master’s (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and have since went on to receive a certification in training for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I later received training in experiential therapy which can help to increase insight and understanding of oneself as well as others. Most recently I have been trained in EMDR and plan to work towards certification. This therapeutic approach is clinically known to be effective in helping a person heal faster from unprocessed traumas than many other methods. I have been dedicated to working exclusively with women for the past 6 years and really feel that this is where my passion lies. I have experience working with women in an intensive outpatient setting (IOP) which is a group setting held three days a week. I have helped countless women work towards becoming the best version of themselves, often breaking molds that have been created for them via values and core beliefs that no longer fit.
