About Me
I work with people who are used to showing up, pushing through, and performing at a high level—even when something underneath doesn’t feel quite right.
That perspective didn’t come from a textbook.
I started in performance—first as an opera singer navigating stage fright, and later as an elite endurance athlete. Somewhere along the way, it became clear that what interested me most wasn’t just performance itself, but what was happening beneath it—the pressure, the patterns, and the ways people learn to cope in order to keep going.
That led me into music therapy, and eventually into deeper clinical training/ social work, where I began focusing on eating disorders, trauma, and the mental demands of performance. I’ve also experienced firsthand how easy it is for high standards, discipline, and identity to become intertwined in ways that are difficult to untangle.
My approach reflects that. It’s grounded in evidence-based work like EMDR and DBT, but also in the understanding that insight alone isn’t enough—this work has to land in your body, your patterns, and how you actually move through your life.
I don’t believe in taking away what makes you driven or high-performing. I do believe in helping you understand it, so it’s working for you—not against you.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me on my bike or spending time with my dog, Benji—who is also a therapy dog and sometimes assists with our work!
