Barbara Clark, LCSW, is a New York-based Psychotherapy who supports Adolescents and Adults navigate anxiety, grief, & depression through a compassionate, trauma-focused lens. She is deeply passionate about empowering clients heal from past and present challenges while finding renewed hope, resilience and greater sense of meaning for the future.
Education & Experience
Barbara has over 10 years of experience in Psychotherapy. She trained at Columbia University and also trained in EMDR practice through the Center for EMDR excellence. She has worked with various populations within the New York metropolitan area treating anxiety, depression, grief and obsessive disorders.
Prior to starting her private practice, Barbara worked in a community-based agency, where she supported at-risk youth and parents navigating familial conflict, school refusal, and Serious Emotional Disorders.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Barbara serves as a board member on the ZMA Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, teen suicide prevention and education within her community.
