About Me
Ben is a relational EMDR therapist who believes therapy is all about connection, fit, and meeting the client where they are. Ben thinks it is essential to take your time and find the therapist who is right for you.
Ben works with individuals on a broad spectrum of issues. His specialties include: Generalized and acute anxiety; Depression; Self-awareness; Trauma; and LGBTQ+ issues.
Ben values humor, relationships, delicious food, dogs, and creating safe communities for folks of all backgrounds and origins. After spending many years training educators and young people in Social & Emotional Learning, he finds joy in seeing spaces transform with the power of empathy and compassion.
Education & Experience
Ben has over 14 years of clinical experience and holds a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, California. Ben had the privilege of being trained in EMDR at the beginning of his clinical career and has continued his education through advanced trainings, ongoing clinical consultation, and training other clinicians. Ben is an Attachment-Focused EMDR therapist and is energized by ongoing learning and collaboration with other clinicians and professionals.
