Bethany Heaton, LCPC

About Me

Many individuals and couples seek therapy because they feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, disconnection, or recurring conflict that are difficult to navigate alone. Couples often come feeling like they are having the same argument repeatedly, struggling to communicate, or wondering how to reconnect after distance has grown between them. In addition to couples work, I see individuals that have experienced trauma as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, and other significant life changes. When helpful, I integrate my training in functional health, wellness, and nutrition to support whole-person wellbeing.

Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practicing in Towson, Maryland. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and my master’s degree in counseling from Loyola University Maryland. I have 14 years of experience seeing clients in both group and private practice settings.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

In addition to being an EMDR trained therapist, I hold certifications in Imago Relationship Therapy, Functional Health and Nutrition, and working with neurodivergent adults.
