About Me

I work with people from a relational, psychodynamic, and person-centered approach. This means that I believe that you are the absolute best expert on yourself. Whether you are looking for help with depression or anxiety, sexuality, cultural identity, issues related to systemic oppression, family issues, or spirituality, I believe that relationships are a powerful tool for exploration, healing, and growth. Together we will explore how your body, mind, and spirit interact and influence how you think and feel. I often incorporate body based therapies such as EMDR and EFT tapping into sessions. I have particular training and experience in areas of trauma and abuse, gender, and PTSD, and I work with adults as well as older adolescents.

Education & Experience

I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2012, after completing a clinical internship working with adolescents, and families. For 3 years I worked at Sound Mental Health with adult individuals who are involved in the criminal justice system and probation. My work there focused on issues of trauma, mood disorders, and issues of addiction. I also spent 5 years at YouthCare working with at-risk youth. I am currently an affiliate of Northwest Family Life in my private therapy practice where I counsel individuals dealing with general issues, as well as domestic violence and trauma. I trained in EMDR in 2022.
