About Me
My name is Beverley, Bea for short, and I have been in private practice in the UK since 2017. I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Consultant/Supervisor who specializes in Attachment-Informed EMDR combined with IFS/ Parts work. I have specialist expertise in PTSD, Complex Grief, OCD, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety and Mindful Parenting. I really enjoy providing EMDR case consultation on a 1:1 basis and in groups.
Education & Experience
I completed my EMDR Basic Training in July 2020, gained Accreditation in March 2023, and became an EMDR Consultant Supervisor in May 2026. Additional training and expertise in: complex trauma (C-PTSD); Kendhal Hart's 16-week course on the Internal Family
Systems (IFS) model; Attachment-Based Transpersonal EMDR, the ‘Flash’ technique; Pre-verbal trauma; R-TEP/ G-TEP; overcoming intergenerational trauma; working with dreams and treatment of nightmares; and EMDR with Neurodivergent clients.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Psychotherapist, a certified Mindfulness Teacher trained in MBCT & Mindful Parenting. I am also a committee member of the EMDR UK Association's Attachment and EMDR Special Interest Group.
