I am employed at Brigham Mass General/Brigham Psychiatric Specialties as a therapist. I have been full-time since 2013. I also started a private practice 1/2024 for EMDR and DBT skills-based therapy. I became certified in EMDR in December of 2022 after 4 years of EMDR intensive practice at BPS. I provide compassionate, client-centered, ego-states focused EMDR therapy with the structure of a DBT and CBT behavioral therapy framework. The sessions are focused and goal-oriented. I have been extensively trained and practiced at effectively treating single and complex PTSD, traumatic grief and loss, PNES, medical trauma and illness loss and chronic pain and traumatic anxiety and depressive disorders at BPS. My EMDR practice is comprehensive and eclectic to address every client's individual biology and life experiences. I do not deviate from evidence based-practices and I am naturally kind and empathetic. You can trust that your wellness goals are my priority by how you feel with me in the sessions. I will teach you to trust yourself and develop boundaries that bring you peace and joy. I am currently a consultant-in-training and will have the ability to provide consultation 1;1 or small group teaching to clinicians learning EMDR. I participate in a monthly EMDR consultation group and meet with an EMDR consultant for my consultation. In between EMDR sessions, I also engage in disciplined mindfulness, journaling, mindfulness meditation, mat pilates, cycling and light weight lifting.
